Timber Pines is a private community established in 1982 dedicated to providing the premier "Country Club Living for Active Adults".

We are located in Spring Hill, Florida (Central Florida), in the Tampa Bay area called the "Nature Coast".

Timber Pines is a fully developed and vibrant community of 3,452 homes and villas. The community assets and amenities are fully owned by the residents. The entire community is debt free and maintains a very adequate reserve funding for future repairs and maintenance.

There is no initiation fee to join, only a modest monthly maintenance fee. Timber Pines provides many activities for it's residents to participate in. It is also close to the Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Orlando Metro areas which provide major transportation, theaters, sporting events, theme parks, and various cultural activities.

Timber Pines has remained a "bargain" when compared to other active adult communities, it is not surprising that many residents have relocated from other similar communities because of the tremendous value that Timber Pines continues to offer.

Timber Pines is truly the finest in "Country Club Living for Active Adults" and is the "best kept secret in Florida".

THE COUNTRY CLUB OF THE PINES

Sitting atop the highest point in Timber Pines and overlooking the beautiful 18th green of the Grand Pines Golf course, the resident owned Country Club of the Pines offers both casual and fine dining menus. The main dining room seats 200 and is complemented by the adjoining cozy casual bar and grille. This is a popular relaxing spot for golfers and tennis players, as well as, those residents who just want to enjoy a light meal. The grille is also available to swimmers who desire a snack or drink while they enjoy the use of the adjoining community size pool and spa. The Country Club also has two private party rooms for special events and group gatherings.

The special Sunday Breakfast and Brunch is an extra treat for residents and their guests. It is a sumptuous buffet with an omelet station, homemade waffles and much more. The monthly Chefs Table offers a gourmet dining experience, while Wednesday Resident Appreciation Nights offer great dinner choices at very reasonable prices.

The restaurant and grille offer lunch, dinner and other specials.

Sunday – Breakfast and Brunch

The homemade soups change daily and are a real tasty treat. Theme dinners are offered periodically and include seafood extravaganzas and various ethnic cuisines.

If fine and casual dining best fit your lifestyle then our Country Club Restaurant and Grille can fully satisfy your appetite. There is no membership or minimum monthly fee for this amenity. It is included in your overall monthly association fee. Just one more reason we think we have the best restaurant north of Tampa right in our own community setting.

Golf to your heart's content!

Lodge

The lodge is a multi-functional building starting with a large ballroom, library, meeting rooms, full kitchen, and is home to the associations administrative offices. The building has wifi access and also has an enclosed porch. The large ballroom is used for many activities; dances, shows, dinners, classes, etc... The library is well stocked with many books and novels, a copy machine and a large flat screen tv. The Oak, Palm, and Cypress meeting rooms are used for many purposes and can accommodate both large and small groups. The General Manager, accounting, residents services, and village association services are all conveniently located here.

Performing Arts Center

This 570 seat theater is the center of many Timber Pines activities ranging from drama performances by the Timber Pines Players and the 100 voice Timbertones Chorus to an annual calendar of professional performances.  Other resident groups like the Twirlers Square Dancers, Razz-Ma-Taps or the community's own Big Band utilize this impressive facility.  Each of these organizations is open to all Timber Pines residents.

The PAC, as it is known, is also an excellent choice for village and club parties and activities, in addition to official resident and Board of Directors meetings and workshops.  Bingo, arts and crafts shows, charity fashion shows and banquets are just a few of the activities that take place in this versatile facility.

Resident Activities Center

The Resident Activities Center ( RAC) is one of the newer facilities in Timber Pines. It is home to the fitness center, billiards room, woodworking shop, craft room, and a meeting room. The fitness center is a fully equipped exercise facility with a YMCA instructor on site. The billiards room boasts 8 full size professional pool tables to accommodate individual and league play. The wood working shop has all of the tools that any craftsman will ever need to create professional looking projects. The craft room was designed to be as versatile as the talents of any individual. It even has its own kiln for the firing of ceramics. There is also a spacious meeting room that is convenient for residents use.

Tennis

Timber Pines maintains 6 beautiful "Plexi-Cushion" and 2 hard surfaced, lighted tennis courts. Two are located at the Lodge Activity Center and six more are located at the Country Club. Resident members can play on these courts absolutely free on a sign-up  basis. The Timber Pines Tennis Club is an optional activity that charges a ten dollar per member annual fee. Most members, (over 300 of them ), consider this to be well worth it because they consider this to be "The Best Tennis Club in Florida."

The Tennis Club participates in organized play and leagues which include an Interclub Women’s Nature League and the very popular Team Tennis league for all levels of play for both men and women

If tennis "just for fun" is more your speed, just sign up and play! While the Tennis Club is optional as stated above, the club plays a major social life role because it puts on the most fabulous parties and dances in the community. In fact, there are many residents who join the club for the social life it provides.

One final bit of information on the club, it conducts two major Timber Pines tournaments a year - - The Annual Charity Tournament in the fall, which has raised thousands of dollars for local charities over the years, and its Annual Club Championship Tournament in the spring which spans five categories i.e., men and women's singles, men and women's doubles and mixed doubles. The tournament is conducted at four levels of play: advanced, intermediate, advanced beginner and beginner to provide an opportunity for players at all levels.
